TransMagic Data Exchange Suites

All of TransMagic’s Data Exchange Suites offer 3D CAD File translation, geometry repair, file viewing, redline, cross-section, part volume, mass properties, measurement and collaboration functionality.  Parts can also be exported from assemblies for use in any other 3D application.

TransMagic I-STEP offers an inexpensive, introductory 3D CAD file repair and translation package that can be upgraded with additional translators.  Supported File Types Include: IGES, STEP, NGRAIN and STL.  

TransMagic BASIC offers a versatile midrange suite of 3D CAD translators that can be upgraded to tackle a wide variety of data exchange needs.  Supported File Types Include: Parasolid, IGES, STEP, ACIS, HSF, NGRAIN and STL.   

TransMagic STANDARD offers a high-end suite of 3D translators for companies that need to exchange files with users of many different CAD/CAM/CAE systems.  Supported File Types Include: CATIA V4, Unigraphics, Pro/ENGINEER, Inventor, SolidWorks, Parasolid, IGES, STEP, ACIS, HSF, NGRAIN and STL. 

TransMagic PLUS offers the most complete set of 3D translators available in one application. Including CATIA V5 READ and WRITE licensed from Dassault Systems, developers of CATIA software products. TransMagic PLUS 2005 provides the highest fidelity CATIA V5 translation available without the need to purchase a license of CATIA V5. Supported File Types Include: CATIA V5, CATIA V4, Unigraphics, Pro/ENGINEER, Inventor, SolidWorks, Parasolid, IGES, STEP, ACIS, HSF, NGRAIN and STL.

Batch File Translation/Data Migration

TransMagic BATCH... TransMagic BATCH offers unattended high-speed file translation with a simple interface to translate large numbers of files or migrate file libraries and can be added to any TransMagic translation product (not available with TransMagic VIEW).

TransMagic VIEW . . . TransMagic VIEW makes a great job quoting and collaboration tool! TransMagic VIEW is perfect for managers, sales people and purchasing agents who need to view and share 3D parts and assemblies or quote job prices.   Like other TransMagic products, TransMagic VIEW also offers redline, cross-section, part volume, mass properties, measurement and collaboration functionality.  TransMagic VIEW supports the following file types:  CATIA V4, Inventor, Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, Unigraphics, ACIS, Parasolid, IGES, STEP, HSF and STL.  Supports printing and export to BMP and TIFF files. 

As a member of the Autodesk Developer Network and Inventor Partner program, TransMagic has developed plug-in translators which are approved by Autodesk as Certified Inventor Add-ins. With these plug-in translators, now Inventor users can access and open the major 3D-CD file formats, used in manufacturing, directly from within Autodesk Inventor. TransMagic virtually eliminates the need to rework translated models for use in Autodesk products. TransMagic's Advanced Geometry Repair System will stitch surfaces together, close gaps and recondition parts for use as "solid models" in AutoCAD, Inventor or any other CAD/CAM/CAE system.
